At our informal Drop-In, you can build your network of others new to the industry over a hot drink and bring along your CV for some advice and pointers from the BECTU Vision team.
The event will start at 10:00am with hot drinks
From 10:20 we’ll have a question and answer session with an industry practitioner
This will be followed by an informal networking session where you can speak to colleagues and peers until 12:00.
This is your opportunity to meet and chat to others to expand your network.
The BECTU Vision team will be on hand for networking support and to help with introductions.
We can also take a quick look at your CV, so bring along a copy!
Accessibility
Please note that there are limited spaces available – register early to avoid disappointment!
This event is free of charge and open to those who meet all of the following:
- based in Scotland
- are outwith education
- new to the Film and Television industry and currently looking for work or early entrants who have some industry experience
The venue is fully accessible – please contact the BECTU Vision team on vision@bectu.org.uk if you have any specific access requirements.
There will be a quiet space that you can go to if you need 5 mins away from the session at any point.

There is free on-street parking and we’re a 5-min walk from Cessnock Subway
