Inclusion

Inclusion

BECTU Vision aims to help productions become more inclusive by making small adjustments to their film and TV workplace.  This can include implementing formal recruitment procedures to ensure fairness and widen access to opportunities, considering the benefits and strengths of neurodiverse candidates and their skills, asking about access needs when onboarding new team members and practising inclusive communication.

Flexible working arrangements are a key part of the inclusive adjustments made within the industry.

ACCESSIBILITY

We strive to ensure that all of our resources, events and training opportunities are accessible.

Our website can be tailored to your preferences – from text size and line height to changing colours, removing images and adding a screen mask. Click on the accessibility icon in the bottom left hand corner to explore the options available.

Visit our accessibility guide for some of the support we can provide during events and training courses, and download our visual map of the BECTU Vision base at Festival Business Centre.

We’re proud to have partnered with The Portal Studios and Blazing Griffin on the Screen Scotland funded Working Differently film and good practice guide which gives simple steps to make your production more inclusive.
