Bectu Vision’s Producer Development Programme

BECTU Vision’s Producer Development Programme offers an exciting opportunity for those with the potential to become Scotland’s high-end TV producers of the future. 

Through a combination of short course training, connections and networking we equip participants with the knowledge, confidence and connections to move into the role of a Scripted Television Producer.

In 2019 we supported Line Producers to Producers, participants were Suzanne Reid, Michael Wilson, Wendy Griffin & Bovy Mackinnon

In 2021 we supported two film producers Brian Coffey and Karen O’Hare to take their transferable skills from film to TV

In 2022 our co-hort was Karen Kelly, Kenny Glenaan and Rosie Crerar & Ciara Barry

Brian Coffey Case Study

One of our 2020 participants Brian Coffey has 10 years’ experience producing feature films including recently producing Our Ladies and Boyz In The Wood.
