Screen Sustainability Case Study based on Lockerbie: A Search for Truth

Are you interested in finding out how your production can work more sustainably?

 

Culture for Climate Scotland’s newly appointed Screen Sustainability Consultant, Sara Hamilton, will present a screen sustainability case study based on television drama, Lockerbie: A Search for the Truth, filmed in Scotland last year and starring Colin Firth.

From zero-waste-to-landfill and sustainable fuel alternatives, Sara will outline how this production saved over 200 tonnes of CO2e.

This session is free to attend and will consist of a 45-minute presentation, followed by optional time for questions and discussion.

 

Presenter:

Sara Hamilton is Screen Sustainability Consultant for Culture for Climate Scotland and a part-time Sustainability Manager for Picture Zero, working on a variety of projects for some of the UK’s leading production companies. She is passionate about thought-provoking stories and believes climate change is one of the most important topics the world should be discussing right now. She lives in Scotland and is inspired by the many possibilities that exist to reduce production emissions and work more sustainably.
