Communication is at the heart of all successful relationships, and Thursday saw our group of practitioners come together with Hannah Corneck on our Powerhouse Partnerships course, learning the tools required to create a powerful job share contract, with their job share or potential future job share partner
Learning about best practices in offering clear and consistent communication with each other, teams and colleagues, the importance of asking questions and listening, and how best to present yourself as a job-share partnership.
We completed 3 exercises focusing on:
- aligning our ambitions by figuring out what we want to achieve and how important that is to us, not only as individuals but as part of a team by designing how our partnerships will work
- learning and practicing how to get and receive feedback whilst holding each other in positive regard
- Understanding how to have productive conversations with each other and creating consistency as a partnership.
Attendees also discussed the positivity and fresh energy a powerhouse partnership can bring to a role, department, and wider production.
