We were delighted to meet this year’s cohort of trainees selected for the prestigious Blood of My Blood Series 2 Production Training Programme in Scotland.
Produced by Sony Pictures Television for Starz, this programme builds on the success of the original Outlander Training Programme, renowned for launching many successful careers within the Scottish film and TV industry.
In June, 18 ambitious trainees were selected for the training positions, all spanning various positions across the departments, including, ADs, art department, camera, construction, costume, greens, lighting, locations, make-up, production, SFX.
Training the Next Generation of Scotland’s Film & TV Talent
BECTU Vision delivered a comprehensive induction at Wardpark Studios, equipping trainees with an essential understanding of how large-scale productions operate. The training also included practical guidance and industry insights to help participants build sustainable freelance careers in Scotland’s thriving screen sector.
The 2025 trainees will also receive additional training later this year, as part of our Freelance Foundation packages.
